Climate Investor One (CIO) is a blended finance facility investing in renewable energy infrastructure projects in emerging markets. CIO offers financing for the entire lifecycle of a project, from design to construction and into operations. The debt financing component funds up to 50 percent of the planning and development stage of a project. It offers both technical assistance and financing.
