New SDG Results Facility Scheme
8 April 2019| The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl), in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Affairs, has launched a new facility scheme to provide 2 million people in developing countries with access to renewable energy. Projects that show results in the areas of access to electricity and access to clean cooking are eligible for support.
The SDG Results: Access to renewable energy (SDG 7 Results) facility scheme – recently launched at a sector event for renewable energy experts – has been created to tackle these issues. It starts into its first tender round with a budget of €11.25 million. Grants are available between €250,000 and €2.5 million and will be made retrospectively, based on the number of people who have gained access to renewable energy technologies. If you are a business, NGO or financial institution and would you like to contribute to access to sustainable energy, you can find additional information on their website.
