The Clean Cooking Forum will return in 2019 and this year the Clean Cooking Alliance partnered up with the Kenyan Ministry of Energy. From the 5th to the 7th of November, senior investors, executives, government officials and a wide range of businesses will gather in Nairobi, Kenya, to discuss the state of the clean cooking sector. The Clean Cooking Forum 2019 will offer a unique opportunity for information exchange, networking and the creation of new partnerships.
This year’s theme “Investment. Innovation. Impact”, bridges back to 2018’s successful Clean Cooking Investment Forum in Kigali, Rwanda. GET.invest – at that point still known as the RECP – was already supporting the Clean Cooking Alliance back then and is proud to do so again in 2019. The outcomes of last year’s forum can be found here.
With between 400 and 500 participants expected, the Clean Cooking Forum 2019 will be the flagship event of the sector – giving clean cooking the platform it deservers – and thereby demonstrating the benefits of clean energy for cooking. Topics will include:
- driving appropriate investment into the sector;
- building a pipeline of scalable businesses;
- supporting innovation throughout the value chain;
- advancing access to clean energy;
- and delivering measurable impact through the use of clean cooking solutions.
Further details regarding registration, the event’s agenda, and how you can get in touch with GET.invest during the event, will be published here as soon as they become available.
