Renewable Energy Forum Africa (REFA) 2025
The Renewable Energy Forum Africa (REFA) is an annual industry event that convenes policymakers, investors, project developers, utilities, technology suppliers and other key stakeholders from across the African renewable energy landscape. The Forum provides a platform to discuss market developments, identify investment opportunities and facilitate partnerships through dedicated matchmaking activities.
REFA 2025 will take place on 3-4 December in Accra, Ghana. Building on previous editions, the programme will address a broad range of topics, including solar photovoltaics, wind energy, hydropower, biomass, green hydrogen, energy storage and e-mobility. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in plenary discussions, technical sessions and business-to-business (B2B) meetings.
GET.invest will take part in the event to engage with stakeholders and contribute to discussions on accelerating renewable energy investment in Africa:
- On Wednesday, 3 December (13:30-14:30 GMT), GET.invest Finance Catalyst Advisor Albert Boateng will speak in the session Unlocking financing for renewable energy systems. The discussion will focus on market trends, financing needs and pathways to scale private investment in clean energy.
In addition, a GET.invest tabletop will be available in the exhibition area, featuring information about the programme services.
