Nigeria–EU Business Forum 2026
The 2026 Nigeria–EU Business Forum, taking place on Thursday 25 June in Lagos, will drive Global Gateway priorities by convening senior policymakers and investors to mobilise investment, deepen trade relations and strengthen EU–Nigeria economic cooperation.
The Forum will highlight investment opportunities across key sectors, including digital infrastructure, renewable energy, health systems, sustainable transport and agricultural value chains, alongside reforms to strengthen the business and investment climate. It will showcase Team Europe financial instruments and support increased private sector participation in Nigeria’s priority sectors. The event will combine high-level dialogue with technical sessions and structured business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) engagements.
This 10th edition of the Forum builds on the momentum of the Nigeria–EU Ministerial Dialogue of 23 March 2026, which marked a renewed phase of engagement and underscored a shared commitment to deeper political and economic cooperation. A strong emphasis will be placed on green and sustainable investment as a foundation for long-term partnership.
High-level participation from the European Commission and the European Investment Bank will reinforce the EU’s commitment to scaling investment and expanding strategic partnerships in Nigeria. As part of the Forum’s activities, GET.invest will be present through a dedicated B2B meeting area focusing on Nigeria’s energy transition – specifically renewable energy, energy efficiency and e-mobility. The space will feature financiers, product developers, pitching sessions and the GET.invest matchmaking.
