Nigeria Solar Marketplace: Lagos Solar Fair 2025
Building on the momentum of the Abuja Solar Fair 2025 – which brought together over 500 stakeholders and showcased inclusive pathways for investment, youth engagement and innovation in the solar sector – the Lagos Solar Fair 2025 is designed as a follow-up with a sharper commercial edge.
While Abuja emphasised storytelling, visibility and ecosystem development, Lagos will shift fully into business-first engagement, prioritising structured investment matchmaking and solution showcasing. As Nigeria’s solar market continues to grow, the Lagos edition will offer a focused, practical space for developers, buyers and financiers to connect, negotiate and unlock deployment opportunities on the spot.
The objectives of the Fair are to:
- facilitate business linkages between developers, corporates and financiers
- drive investment and deployment through curated matchmaking
- showcase innovative solutions by Nigerian and international solar providers
- activate the Nigeria Solar Marketplace as a sourcing and tracking tool
- support ecosystem collaboration through the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN) and the Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) Foundation
The event will consist of two parallel and integrated components, with a curated B2B networking, and an exhibition and demo zone.
The PIND Foundation, REAN and the Dutch development partner SNV are working together for this event to ensure that it will deliver meaningful connections leading to investment, deployment and enterprise growth. The Lagos Solar Fair 2025 is supported by GET.invest Nigeria.
