Description
The Promotion of Solar Solutions to Stimulate Green Employment in Burkina Faso (PROSSEV-BF) provides a combination of grants and technical assistance to private companies, both small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and small and medium-sized industries (SMIs), operating in the agricultural and agribusiness sectors and value chains in Burkina Faso. The programme targets SMES and SMIs based in the Centre region (Ouagadougou) and the Haut-Bassins region (Bobo-Dioulasso), to support efforts to promote and finance the installation of solar technological equipment for productive use in order to green and optimise their production systems. PROSSEV-BF provides grants of up to EUR 100,000 that require co-financing.

Technical assistance
AECF provides targeted technical assistance to SMEs and SMIs to support these companies achieve the impact objectives set. Technical assistance includes cross-company learning in portfolio companies through open-source networks, industry associations, and other instruments. This learning also involves a workshop to connect and share experiences between all the companies in the portfolio.
