Uganda–EU Business Forum 2026

The Uganda–EU Business Forum 2026 will take place in Kampala on 20–21 October, bringing together European and Ugandan businesses, investors, policymakers and development partners to strengthen economic cooperation and mobilise investment. The Forum will highlight opportunities for sustainable growth and green industrialisation, with a particular focus on renewable energy, including hydropower, geothermal and wind energy.

On Wednesday 21 October, GET.invest will support the Pitching Sessions & Deal Lounge, connecting renewable energy businesses with potential financiers and investors. The three sessions will showcase investment opportunities with European connections, spanning SMEs and growing businesses seeking approximately €1–10 million and larger projects requiring more than €10 million.

GET.invest Finance Catalyst advisors Caroline Nijland and Albert Boateng have supported participating businesses in preparing their investment presentations, including through pitch deck reviews and feedback. During the Forum, they will moderate pitching sessions and facilitate matchmaking and individual discussions between project promoters and potential financing partners.
