Current as of: 2026-06-09
Description
The Climate and Finance Innovations (ClimaFii) Alliance is a collaborative, global initiative by Shell Foundation, Accion, Upaya Social Ventures and BFA Global. It provides catalytic support in the form of milestone-based cash grants of $45,000 and in-kind support to climate enterprises (start-ups and SMEs) in sub-Saharan Africa and India. The initiative targets climate-smart technologies specifically designed to benefit micro-entrepreneurs such as solar-powered processing solutions for smallholder farmers, electric vehicles and cooling systems for delivery drivers, clean cooking solutions for restaurant owners and converting farm waste into inputs.
