KawiSafi Ventures invests venture capital to scale companies providing clean, affordable and efficient renewable energy to East Africa’s off-grid populations. Building on the success of the first KawiSafi Fund, Acumen has launched KawiSafi Fund II, a vehicle that expands its focus into emerging market segments such as e-mobility and carbon finance. The fund aims to catalyse transformative businesses that deliver both strong financial returns and deep climate impact across Africa.
