Description
FONGIP offers individual and portfolio guarantees to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and projects with head offices in Senegal. FONGIP’s products and services target SMEs, economic interest groups of women and young people, banking and financial systems and any project relating to an activity that creates income and jobs in the sectors of agriculture, energy, transport, infrastructure and information and communication technology.

About
Le Fonds de Garantie des Investissements Prioritaires (FONGIP) was established by the presidency of Senegal to collaborate with other public entities in the financial ecosystem to mobilise public and private financial resources to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). FONGIP is a facilitator of guarantees for access to financing credit. FONGIP partners with the state, ministries, local authorities, support structures for SMEs, financial institutions, the chambers of commerce, industry and agriculture, the chambers of trades, international partners as well as employers’ organisations.
