From the 23-25 March 2020, the Lusophone Association for Renewable Energy (ALER) and the Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER) will organise the Renewables in Mozambique Conference in Maputo, Mozambique.
The conference aims to raise awareness and provide further information about renewable energy investment opportunities in Mozambique for the private sector, present ongoing initiatives from the government, address key issues for private sector renewable energy sector investment in Mozambique, and create a more dynamic and competitive renewable energy market in Mozambique.
GET.invest is supporting ALER and AMER in the organisation of the event, together with Green People’s Energy for Africa initiative and Energising Development (EnDev), as well as SolarPower Europe (SPE) and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE).
Attendees will have the chance to join GET.invest B2B meeting sessions committed to providing participants with a unique opportunity to connect with potential business partners, investors, relevant policymakers and experts through a series of select personal meetings. There will also be prospects for attendees to become better informed about investment opportunities and for members of the public sector to become more aware of the benefits of working with the private sector. Topics covered at the conference will range from on and off-grid markets to clean-cooking and productive uses of energy.
GET. invest will be present with team members and GET.invest Finance Catalyst advisers, who will welcome inquiries about how to access financing to scale up business operations as well as available European financial and technical support.
Registration will open soon- more information to follow.
