Julia I.E. Hawkins

Julia Hawkins is an expert transaction advisor and financial modeller within renewable energy with a broad skill set and network. Julia was born and raised in Sweden and spent most of her 15–years career in London’s financial industry within advisory and investment roles. She currently lives and works in Mauritius. Her specialities are corporate and project finance, with a focus on energy and infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa. She has worked on transactions ranging from EUR 500k to EUR 3bn and has held numerous training courses on financial modelling and valuation approaches across the world. Her approach is geared towards finding simple solutions to complex problems. Julia holds a MSc in Economics and Business, Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, as well as an MA in International Management, CEMS MIM Program from the London School of Economics.
