Ramon Candia

Ramon Candia is an investment banking professional with over 25 years of experience, a deep understanding of Latin American markets, and a proven track record of executing complex transactions. In recent years, he has focused on delivering capital solutions to projects and corporates across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ramon was an investor in Valora Holdings S.A. and a shareholder of CIFI S.A., where he served as Chief Investment Officer. During his tenure, CIFI achieved its strongest financial performance to date, doubled its assets under management, and further strengthened its reputation across multiple business lines.

Following his successful exit from Valora and conclusion of his role at CIFI, Ramon founded Taunus Capital S.A. in May 2025, reaffirming his commitment to innovative investment and financing solutions across the region.

He is fluent in English, Spanish, and German, with an intermediate command of Portuguese.
