Clean Cooking Forum 2019
The Clean Cooking Alliance has joined forces with the Kenyan Ministry of Energy to host the next Clean Cooking Forum (CCF 2019) titled “Investment. Innovation. Impact.” from the 5th to the 7th of November in Nairobi, Kenya. Two of GET.invest’s donors – the European Union and the Netherlands – will outline the importance of clean cooking and their commitment during the opening plenary.
The flagship event of the clean cooking sector will bring together more than 500 investors, executives, government officials and entrepreneurs to build an inclusive industry that makes clean cooking accessible to all. To help this aim, GET.invest will host a Business-to-Business (B2B) matchmaking session at the forum. The session will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss the state of the sector, exchange market intelligence, network and form new partnerships.
GET.invest’s B2B matchmaking session ties in seamlessly with the wider agenda of the forum, which covers topics such as:
- Driving appropriate investment into the sector;
- Building a pipeline of scalable businesses;
- Supporting innovation throughout the value chain;
- Advancing access to clean energy; and delivering measurable impact through the use of clean cooking solutions.
Prior to the event, GET.invest and the multi-donor programme Energising Development (EnDev) will host their first joint Clean Cooking Master Class, coaching clean cooking companies about how to attract more capital.
